Connect with an API token
-
In NINJIO:
- Log in to the NINJIO admin interface at https://admin.goninjio.com/ as an administrator.
- Click Integration at the top right side of the screen and select New API Key.
- Name the key and select read access only for the access points Safeguard needs (leave write off), then click Generate Key.
- Copy the key somewhere safe; it can be viewed only once.
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): Leave blank for NINJIO's API gateway (https://apigw.goninjio.com/api/api_gateway/...), per docs.ninjio.com.
- Account / Org / Workspace (optional): Not documented on the pages fetched; leave blank unless you manage several tenants.
NINJIO shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
NINJIO's API version 3.0.0 publishes the read endpoints; writes stay on 2.x. The authentication header and any tenant parameter are in NINJIO's Authentication Guide, which was not fetched.
