Connect with an API token

  1. In Pipedream:

    1. User API key: in Pipedream, open User Settings and copy the key under My Account › API Key.
    2. Workspace alternative (OAuth client): open your workspace's API settings (pipedream.com/settings/api) and click New OAuth Client.
    3. Name the client and click Create. Copy the client secret immediately, then copy the client ID from the list.

Pipedream's public documentation does not cover every step.

The user API key stays viewable in User Settings and can be revoked with REVOKE; an OAuth client secret is shown only once. Pipedream documents no read-only scope for these credentials. The docs fetched do not say where the workspace or org ID is shown.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Pipedream, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

Pipedream publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.
