Connect with an API token

  1. In Skribble:

    1. Sign in to Skribble with your business account.
    2. Click Admin area in the lower-left.
    3. Go to API keys and click Create API key at the top right.
    4. Choose the key type you need: Demo (testing, no legal weight, free of charge) or Production (live systems, signatures invoiced).
    5. Add an optional description, such as how the key is used or by which department.
    6. In the next step, copy the username and the API key (your password) and store them safely; Skribble can't recover the password after you close the window.

Where to find the other values:

    • API token / Personal access token: Shown once as the API key (password), together with its username, right after Admin area › API keys › Create API key.
    • Account / Org / Workspace (optional): The API key's username is shown on the same screen as the API key.

Skribble shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

Skribble's Admin guide states API integration is available on the Pro, Scale, Business and Enterprise plans. An API key is a username plus API key (password) pair; Skribble documents no read-only key. Keys can be reset (irreversible, breaks existing integrations) or deleted from the same API keys page. Production-key signature requests are charged to your company. The API base URL was not stated on the fetched page; the API reference (api-doc.skribble.com) renders only in a browser.

Frameworks

Skribble publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.
