Connect with an API token
-
In PandaDoc NDA:
- Sign in to PandaDoc as a stable, long-term user with the access you need (API keys are tied to the user who generates them; removing that user deactivates the key).
- Open the Dev Center (Developer Dashboard) and go to its Configuration page.
- Generate a Production API key (production keys require approval from PandaDoc Sales; a Sandbox key is available for testing) and copy it.
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): Leave blank; PandaDoc's public API is at
https://api.pandadoc.com. - Account / Org / Workspace (optional): Not needed; the API key implies the workspace of the user who generated it.
PandaDoc NDA's public documentation does not cover every step.
PandaDoc NDA uses the same PandaDoc account and API as PandaDoc; the steps are the general PandaDoc API key steps. Production keys need approval from PandaDoc Sales, and the API requires the Enterprise plan (active or trial) for sandbox keys. There is no read-only key. Whether the key is shown only once is not stated.
