Connect with an API token

In Mistral AI:
- Open the Mistral Backoffice (backoffice.mistral.ai) and go to API keys.
- Click Create key.
- Choose a name, select the Organization the key belongs to, and optionally set an expiration date.
- Copy the key and store it securely; it is only shown at creation.
Mistral AI shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

The permissions Safeguard needs:
Admin API key (organization admin). Needs Mistral AI's Enterprise plan. Mistral AI issues no read-only credential. Safeguard only reads with it, and you can revoke it at any time. Needs a Mistral Admin API key, created in the Mistral console › API keys. The Admin API is in preview and needs an Enterprise plan. A standard API key does not work here. -
On Compliance › Connectors, open Mistral AI, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

Frameworks
Safeguard's automated tests read Mistral AI and map to the controls below. When a test passes, the result is evidence toward each control it maps to, in every framework listed. It is evidence toward a control, not proof that the control is met on its own.

These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
