Connect with an API token

  1. In Panorays:

    1. Sign in to the Panorays platform as an Admin; Panorays says Admins can create, modify and remove API Tokens within the platform and control their access permissions.
    2. Create an API token with the most limited access permissions Panorays offers. The exact menu path, button labels and permission names are in Panorays' API documentation at docs.panorays.com, which could not be read here.

Where to find the other values:

    • API token / Personal access token: Created by a Panorays Admin in the Panorays platform (exact page not sourced).
    • Base URL (optional): Not sourced; see Panorays' API documentation at docs.panorays.com.
    • Account / Org / Workspace (optional): Not sourced; leave blank unless Panorays' API documentation asks for one.

Panorays's public documentation does not cover every step.

Panorays' release notes (Q4'23, 17 January 2024) say Admins can create, modify and remove API Tokens within the Panorays platform while controlling access permissions. Panorays' API documentation (docs.panorays.com, its llms.txt and its sitemap.xml) is behind a Cloudflare bot challenge ('Just a moment...', HTTP 403), which was not bypassed. Site-filtered searches of panorays.com, docs.panorays.com and GitHub (standard and extended) turned up no other official page with the menu path. Still missing: the settings path, button names, the permission options for a read-only token, the API base URL, and whether the token is shown only once.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Panorays, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

Frameworks

No automated compliance test reads Panorays yet, so no framework lists it. How connectors provide evidence for frameworks: Frameworks and connectors.
