Connect with an API token
-
In CyberGRX:
- Sign in to CyberGRX with an account that can manage users.
- Use the top right navigational element to enter Manage my company user accounts.
- Click the Access Tokens tab.
- Click Add a new token and accept the prompt that creates the token.
- Click view the secret, copy the secret, then close the dialog and save the token in a secure location; this is the only time the secret is shown.
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): CyberGRX's API is served from https://api.cybergrx.com (Swagger UI at https://api.cybergrx.com/v1/swagger/), where the token is pasted under Authorize.
CyberGRX shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
Source is the HOW-TO in CyberGRX's official GitHub organization (CyberGRX/api-examples). Creating tokens requires an active CyberGRX account with the ability to manage users. The HOW-TO documents no read-only or scoped token option, and its screenshot caption calls the tab 'Manage Access Tokens' while the steps say 'Access Tokens'. CyberGRX is now part of ProcessUnity, so screen labels may have changed since the guide was written; api.cybergrx.com's own documentation page renders only in the browser.
