Connect with an API token

  1. In Workleap:

    1. Log in to Workleap and open Settings.
    2. Select API from the side menu under Integrations.
    3. Select Create API key.
    4. Set the scope: Workleap API only, Officevibe API only, or Global (works interchangeably between all our APIs), matching the data Safeguard should read.
    5. Choose the access level Read only.
    6. Select Create API key and copy the key; the full key is only shown once and cannot be recovered.

Workleap shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

The help article does not state which Workleap role may create API keys. Existing keys, with scope, access level, expiry and status, are listed on the same Settings › API page. The API base URL is in Workleap's developer docs (https://docs.api.workleap.com/), not read.

    Source: help.workleap.com, checked 2026-10-07.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Workleap, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

No automated compliance test reads Workleap yet, so no framework lists it. How connectors provide evidence for frameworks: Frameworks and connectors.
