Connect with an API token

  1. In Papaya Global:

    1. Papaya Global does not document a self-service key screen. Request API credentials (an api_key and client_secret) from Papaya Global integration support.
    2. Exchange them for a token with POST /token on the Authentication API, sending api_key, client_secret and an optional token_name. Production: https://authentication-service.papayaglobal.com/token; Demo: https://api.cust1.papaya-sandbox.com/token.
    3. Paste the resulting token, or the credential integration support issues for this connection, into API token / Personal access token.

Where to find the other values:

Papaya Global issues this credential through its API or its support team, not through its admin screens.

The public docs at docs.papayaglobal.com cover Papaya's Workforce Payments APIs. They don't document an HRIS or people-data read API, read-only roles, or whether the secret is shown once. Credentials are issued separately for demo and production environments.
