Connect with an API token

  1. In Affinity:

    1. In Affinity, open Settings and go to the Manage Apps page, then generate an API key (see Affinity's Help Center article "How to obtain your API Key" for the exact buttons).
    2. Copy the key and paste it into API token / Personal access token.

Where to find the other values:

Affinity's public documentation does not cover every step.

Affinity's API docs say the key is generated from the Manage Apps page in Affinity Settings and that actions are attributed to the key's user; there is no documented read-only key. The Help Center article with exact button labels could not be fetched (404), so labels and display-once behaviour are unverified.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Affinity, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

Affinity publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.
