Connect with an API token
-
In Tugboat Logic:
- Tugboat Logic is now OneTrust Certification Automation. In the OneTrust application, go to Global Settings › Access Management › Client Credentials.
- On the API Keys tab, create an API key with only the read scope(s) Safeguard needs (OneTrust requires OAuth scopes for each endpoint).
- Copy the key and paste it into API token / Personal access token (OneTrust expects it as a Bearer token).
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): Your OneTrust hostname (the host you sign in to); OneTrust API calls take the form https://{hostname}/api/{microservice}/{version}/...
Tugboat Logic's public documentation does not cover every step.
OneTrust acquired Tugboat Logic in 2021 and migrated customers to OneTrust Certification Automation. The quick start guide gives the menu path but defers exact button labels, scope names and display-once behaviour to articles on my.onetrust.com, which need sign-in. Legacy Tugboat Logic API credentials were not found in public docs.
