Connect with an API token

  1. In TrustCloud:

    1. Sign in to TrustCloud with the Compliance Admin role.
    2. From your TrustCloud program, go to the Integrations page and select API Access in the left-side panel.
    3. Click Begin Setup, review the Before You Begin page, then click Configure API Key.
    4. Enter an API key name, set the expiration period, and click Generate Key.
    5. Copy the API key and paste it into API token / Personal access token.
    6. Click Complete Setup, enter a contact email for expiration notifications, and click Finish.

Where to find the other values:

    • Base URL (optional): TrustCloud's API guide gives the base URL as https://api.trustcloud.ai (requests also send the header x-trustcloud-api-version: 1).

TrustCloud documents no permission or read-only option when creating the key. Only the Compliance Admin role can open the API Access page. The guide does not say whether the key can be viewed again after setup.

    Source: community.trustcloud.ai, checked 2026-10-07.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open TrustCloud, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
