API Platform (Console)

Procurement

How to buy the API Platform: directly from Safeguard, under an enterprise agreement, or through your cloud provider, and what your vendor review will need.

Early access. The API Platform is switched off by default, and Safeguard switches it on per workspace. To start, choose Use with Safeguard on a model at safeguard.sh/models, or email hi@safeguard.sh.

What you pay for

Model usage, at the provider's list price with no markup, paid from your workspace's prepaid credit. The inference API draws only on that credit, which is separate from your Safeguard plan. See Pricing and billing.

Buying direct

Safeguard switches the API Platform on for your workspace and adds credit to it. Once card top-up is switched on, a tenant admin or super admin can also buy credit in the Console with a card, on Stripe's checkout page.

Safeguard's plans are on safeguard.sh/pricing.

Enterprise agreements

For committed volume or a dedicated deployment, email hi@safeguard.sh. For where a dedicated deployment can run, see Deployment options.

Buying through your cloud provider

Buying the API Platform through a cloud marketplace is not available yet. If your company buys software that way, for example to use committed cloud spend, tell Safeguard which marketplace you use. The Console has no marketplace option: credit comes from Safeguard or, once it is switched on, a card top-up.

How Safeguard sources models

The gateway calls each third-party model's provider with Safeguard's own credentials, so you don't need an account with the provider. Before a model is sold, Safeguard confirms that the provider's terms allow it to resell the model at list price, and the gateway refuses the model until that is recorded.

To use a provider account you already have, see Bring your own model.
