Requests and approvals
The requests your compliance programme handles, from customers, data subjects and your own team, and the decisions that wait for a person.
Requests and approvals
Your compliance programme receives requests from outside and makes decisions inside. Each has its own place in Safeguard, a record of who did what, and a rule about who may decide.
| Workflow | Who starts it | Where it is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Trust Center access requests | A customer, prospect, partner or auditor asks to see a restricted document | Compliance › Trust Center › Access requests |
| Privacy requests | A person asks about their personal data, and your team records it | Compliance › Privacy requests |
| Integration requests | Someone on your team asks Safeguard for a connector it does not list | Compliance › Connectors › Request integration |
| Approvals | A change that only counts once a person decides it: a policy, evidence, an access review, a test exclusion, a risk acceptance, a crosswalk mapping | Where the item lives, by a compliance reviewer |
Assistants are bound by the same rules. Safeguard's AI assistant and MCP clients can prepare work, but they never approve, accept or sign off: those decisions are made by a person in the app. See Approvals.
Trust Center access requests
How visitors request your restricted documents under NDA, how your team approves or denies them, and the audit trail every request leaves.
Privacy requests
Record data subject requests, track their deadlines, and complete, refuse or extend them with the record an auditor reads.
