Record your Matillion connection as data export evidence. Automated collection is not available for this provider yet.

Connect with an API token

1. In Matillion:

   1. Sign in to Matillion (Maia / Data Productivity Cloud) as a user with the Manage API Credentials permission.
   2. In the left navigation, click the Profile & Account icon and select API credentials.
   3. Click Set an API Credential, give the set a descriptive Name, and select the Account Role with the least access you need.
   4. Save, then copy the Client ID and Client Secret immediately.
   5. If the credential is not Super Admin, grant it roles on each project and environment it needs to read.

   Where to find the other values:

   • Base URL (optional): Use the API server for your account's region: https://us1.api.matillion.com/dpc (US) or https://eu1.api.matillion.com/dpc (EU). Your account must be in the same region as the endpoint.
   • Account / Org / Workspace (optional): Not required by the API authentication flow; leave blank.

   Matillion shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Matillion, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

   Field	What to enter
   API token / Personal access token	Required. Stored encrypted and never shown again.

3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

Matillion publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.

These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
