Connect with an API token

  1. In Arctic Wolf Managed Awareness:

    1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal (dashboard.arcticwolf.com). Use the Unified Portal, not the MSP portal.
    2. In the navigation menu, click Organization Profile › Personal API Keys.
    3. Click Create an API Key.
    4. In the Name field, enter a name that identifies the key, for example Safeguard.
    5. In the Expiry field, select when the key expires.
    6. Click Create Key.
    7. Copy the token to a safe location; after you close the window you cannot view it again.

Arctic Wolf Managed Awareness shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

Arctic Wolf Managed Awareness's public documentation does not cover every step.

Arctic Wolf documents personal API keys for 'various Arctic Wolf APIs' in the Unified Portal; the page does not say these keys cover Managed Security Awareness data, and no read-only scope option is documented on that page. Base URL and account/org values were not found in public docs. For conglomerate or MSP customers Arctic Wolf recommends creating the key in the parent or MSP internal Unified Portal.
