Connect with an API token

  1. In Beazley:

    1. API access is granted on request to brokers. On beazley.com, open the broker centre form Sign up for API trading (or Request API access).
    2. Complete the API Interest Form (the business readiness questionnaire and your contact details, including Do you currently have a fully functional API integration?) and submit it.
    3. Beazley follows up on your request; the page does not say how credentials are issued. Paste the credential you receive into Safeguard.

Beazley issues this credential through its API or its support team, not through its admin screens.

Beazley's API is for brokers trading with Beazley, not a policyholder evidence API. The page does not describe how keys are issued or what format they take.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Beazley, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

No automated compliance test reads Beazley yet, so no framework lists it. How connectors provide evidence for frameworks: Frameworks and connectors.
