Connect with an API token

  1. In Cisive:

    1. Sign up or sign in at the Cisive API portal, apiportal.cisive.com (Sign up / Sign In).

Cisive keeps the full instructions behind sign-in; this is what its public pages say.

Cisive's public API portal lists its APIs (Order Management, Sanction Check, License Manager Pro) but does not explain publicly how credentials are issued; the details are behind portal sign-in. No read-only option is documented.

    Source: apiportal.cisive.com, checked 2026-10-07.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Cisive, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.
